Questions to ask your provider and hospital to ensure you align.

ASK THESE QUESTIONS:

Will you feel safe and supported in labor? Many women spend so much time preparing for labor and delivery. You pack your hospital bags, make a birth plan and STILL know you have to advocate for yourself day of. (Check out my birth plan here).

This is important.

It is equally important to know your decisions are supported and aligned with your provider.

The majority of these questions are found in the back of Ina May's Guide to Childbirth which I recommend to everyone during pregnancy!

I wanted to share them with you so you could bring these questions to your provider and on your hospital tour to ensure your requests are aligned and respected and you feel safe going into labor and delivery.

These questions are also only a suggestions. Feel free to SKIP any and add or change anything you want.
Create a team that works for you instead of against you!

They are also geared towards a hospital birth, so they may not all be relevant if you are having a homebirth.
